This Cookie Policy explains how Authority Index Labs, Inc. ("Company," "we," "us," and "our") uses cookies and similar technologies when you visit our websites and web application. It explains what these technologies are, why we use them, and how you can control them.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small data files placed on your computer or mobile device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work, to make them work more efficiently, and to provide reporting information. Cookies set by the website owner (in this case, Authority Index Labs, Inc.) are called first-party cookies. Cookies set by anyone other than the website owner are called third-party cookies.
Why do we use cookies?
We use cookies only where they are necessary to operate the Websites securely and to keep you signed in, and for a small number of functional purposes such as remembering your interface preferences.
We do not use advertising cookies, we do not allow third parties to serve advertising through the Websites, and we do not use cookies to build advertising profiles or to track you across unrelated websites. We also do not run third-party analytics cookies on the Websites. We do measure how features are used, but that measurement happens on our servers rather than in your browser, and it identifies you only by an irreversible one-way hash of your account identifier. This is described in our Privacy Policy.
What cookies do we use?
The cookies below are the first- and third-party cookies served through the Websites. Which of them are set depends on which of the Websites you visit and whether you sign in or make a purchase.

Functional storage
The Tessera web application also stores a small amount of data in your browser's local storage to keep you signed in and to remember interface preferences such as your selected model or theme. This is not a cookie and is not transmitted to us automatically. You can clear it at any time through your browser settings.
Advertising measurement without cookies
We do not place advertising cookies on the Websites. We do measure the effectiveness of our own advertising and of referral links. When you arrive from one of our advertisements or from a referral link, our servers record the campaign or referral code carried in the link, together with your IP address and browser user agent, and match that record against a subsequent app installation so that we can credit a referring user and understand which advertisements work. This happens on our servers rather than in your browser, and it is described in our Privacy Policy.
How can I control cookies?
Because we set only strictly necessary and functional cookies, we do not present a cookie consent banner or a cookie preference centre. You can still control cookies through your browser. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent you from signing in and will stop parts of the Websites from working.
The way to refuse cookies varies from browser to browser, so you should visit your browser's help menu for more information. Guidance is available for Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge, and Opera.
If we ever introduce advertising or third-party analytics cookies, we will update this policy and provide a consent mechanism before those cookies are set.
What about other tracking technologies, like web beacons?
Cookies are not the only way to recognise visitors to a website. Other technologies include web beacons, sometimes called tracking pixels or clear gifs, which are tiny graphics files containing a unique identifier. We do not currently use web beacons or tracking pixels on the Websites or in the emails we send. If that changes, we will update this policy.
Do you serve targeted advertising?
No. We do not serve targeted advertising through the Websites, we do not sell advertising space, and we do not sell or share your personal information with third parties for their own advertising purposes.

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time, for example to reflect changes to the cookies we use or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons.
